Change is the Only Constant in Life
The Culture of Progress
When people tell me nothing is happening to them, that they don't have any conflicts or stressful situations pushing them toward change, I find it hard to believe. Things happen to me all the time! Hahaha.
This past month has been a whirlwind, and I'm not sure if you're feeling it the same way. After so many weeks of reflection and closing cycles, I find myself in the midst of a storm of change—new things, new people, cycles opening.
I look back and see someone completely different from who I was three months ago. Have you experienced that? I have to admit, I'm quite intense, and when I see something that needs changing, I don’t hesitate for a second—I dive right in. Today, I find myself taking on things that used to paralyze me and seemed unimaginable before.
And that’s the magic of life—looking at ourselves, observing, paying attention, and seeing that progress. Read this carefully: we need to integrate this into our lives—we live in a culture of progress, advancing step by step, each at our own pace, but always moving forward.
If I were to ask you right now, what changes have you noticed in yourself in the last three months? Are you proud of them? And it doesn’t matter how big or small—maybe it's just a small daily habit you’ve changed that makes you feel better, or it could be a radical life shift where you took a leap of faith. What matters is giving ourselves a pat on the back, rewarding ourselves, and continuing to move forward.
Gemini Season is ONNNNN
In the past week, our minds, our communication, and our connections have been on overdrive. Gemini season has kicked off with full force. For the next year, we’ll experience significant expansion in that area of our lives due to Jupiter’s transit.
But for that expansion to align with our desires, I’m afraid I have to tell you that introspection, self-reflection, and self-inquiry are necessary. We need to take a few minutes each day to connect with our soul, feel the rhythm of our hearts, and ask ourselves: What do I truly want to expand?
When we don’t take time for this personal work, we go through life asleep, functioning automatically. Without realizing it, we let the hours, days, months, and years slip through our fingers like water. And when we finally wake up to this, it’s often too late.
The Importance of Personal Work
I know what you’re thinking—"I don’t have time; I’m tired; it’s boring; I don’t need that, I’m fine; I don’t have enough hours in the day, I have too many obligations." I know, I’ve been there, and some days, I fall back into that mindset. And from my own experience, I can tell you those are excuses. Stopping, doing nothing outside, and connecting with myself means facing emotions or thoughts that are uncomfortable or painful.
It’s easier to stay in that “comfort zone” that’s not comfortable at all but feels safer. "I’ll get over it, it’s just a low point, and in a few days, I’ll be up again." "I’m just complaining, but the truth is, I’m doing okay." "Well, it’s not that bad; I’m exaggerating. Everyone has problems." Does any of this sound familiar?
It does to me. When I connect with my heart and listen to what it desires, a wave of emotion floods me, revealing all the changes I need to make to feel different, all the difficult decisions I should be making to shift my situation. And that's when the justifications and excuses come in, trying to convince my heart that what I’m living isn’t so bad.
The Challenge of Awakening Consciousness
The thing is, once we awaken to the truth, there’s no turning back. We’ve seen the truth of our own inconsistency. Two things happen here: some fall into fear and want to go back to sleep, like Cypher in The Matrix, who regrets waking up and desperately wants to return to sleep, even betraying his friends just to avoid facing reality.
Others embrace the fear and discomfort, and with courage, continue forward, desiring to live differently, like Morpheus, who searches for the "chosen one" through struggle, and knows that one day, a path will open, showing a new way to live and bringing freedom.
The question is: which character are you? If you’ve made it this far and you’re reading this, you’re already on this path. There are no coincidences—life is synchronistic and perfect, and “even the hairs on your head are counted.”
For a long time, I was Cypher. I knew I wasn’t living a life aligned with my soul, I knew I wasn’t fully myself, and I noticed how often I’d push myself aside for others to love me, accept me, see me. The more I did this, the further I drifted from the heart that beat to a different rhythm, one that played a different song from the one I ended up playing for the world.
Life Always Gives Us Opportunities
Life kept giving me signs and opportunities until, through pain, I decided to listen, and there was no turning back. From Cypher, I became Morpheus. I searched for that new way to live so much that at some point, I took on the responsibility of becoming Neo, using everything I learned to be the path for others.
Again, I ask you: What role are you playing in your life right now? What are you waiting for to be Neo and take control and responsibility for your life? All those stories and justifications we tell ourselves are lies. If we change our perception, we change our reality.
And this week, the sky brings us the opportunity, once again, to do it. With Mercury joining Uranus, our rational mind and higher mind will offer us brilliant and futuristic ideas to help us take a leap and radically change. Amazing, original solutions we hadn’t seen before might present themselves. It will be easier to understand the information around us and gain awareness.
Everything Depends on Me
But are you willing to take advantage of all this energy? Because energy is just that—it’s there, available, but if I don’t take it and use it to my advantage, it’ll pass me by. Ultimately, everything depends on me.
We’re also in a waning moon phase in Pisces, which invites us to review and reflect on our emotional and mental processes. It calls us to go inward and connect with our intuition, with our more subtle perception, and see if we are aligned with our desires and goals, or if we’re still creating fantasies, escaping from our reality, and trying to live in dreams that are not feasible.
This is an excellent week to clean up the distractions that pull us away from our path, and to take care of our mental, spiritual, and emotional health. It’s a good time to seek therapy or do something that realigns us.
Changing and Healing Through Love
I can only tell you that how we feel and will feel is a choice. We can resist for a while, but eventually, that inner calling will be so strong that it’ll be impossible to ignore.
When we decide to listen to that call by choice, we have the opportunity to learn and change through love. And it’s not necessary to reach discomfort and pain to do it.
I hope this week showers you with that light of awareness, that Uranus and Mercury illuminate new possibilities on your path, and that this waning moon in Pisces embraces your soul so that it finds peace, containment, and the strength to make that cleaning.
