New Year, New Life!

2024: A Year of Radical Changes

In my last article, I talked about the importance of applying everything we learned throughout the past year. The energy is intense, especially with Neptune and Mercury in play, which could lead us to fall into victimhood or create unnecessary conflicts that might leave us feeling frustrated.

I also spoke about gratitude and setting resolutions for the new year. Often, we only see the glass as half empty and get stuck in that mindset, dwelling on what’s lacking instead of appreciating what is.

This week presents a powerful opportunity to start a different kind of year. So, what will you choose? Whatever it is, make sure it’s a conscious choice. Unfortunately, changing our lives requires effort—it demands that we step out of our comfort zones, seek new resources, learn what we don’t yet know, and have the conversations we sometimes avoid. If we always do the same thing, as my mentor Enric says, we will always get the same results.

That’s why, if you truly want to take full advantage of this new year’s energy, it’s time to take action and reflect on the commitments you want to make for 2024.

The Stars Are on Our Side

One thing to always remember: the stars are never against us. Even when the sky presents challenging alignments and we struggle to navigate them, everything ultimately works for our benefit.

As celestial bodies move, they shift energies that resonate within us, triggering reactions based on what we carry inside. If our reaction is constructive, it’s a sign that we are progressing well and utilizing this energy in its highest expression. On the other hand, if our reaction is destructive, it indicates something within us that needs attention. Life is offering us a valuable opportunity to identify the path forward.

As I always say, in the end, everything is a choice. There are events and situations beyond our control, but we can always choose how we experience them, what we do with them, and who we decide to be in each moment.

Speak from Love, Not from Anger

I’ve previously written about Mercury—our celestial messenger, Hermes—who has been retrograde since last month. I discussed its pre- and post-retrograde shadow phases and what they signify. Now, Mercury is waking up from its slumber and moving forward.

However, this shift doesn’t happen instantly. For the next three days, Mercury will remain stationary, lingering at the same mathematical degree, like an engine warming up before it starts moving again.

These days require extra awareness to avoid “Mercury mishaps.” We might feel confused, distracted, lose things, make poor decisions, or fall into impulsive honesty—saying things we later regret.

My advice remains the same: observe yourself, listen to yourself, analyze your reactions and triggers, and reflect on their deeper origins. These insights can reveal important areas for inner work. And if you’re unsure how to do this, ask for help. Seeking support is an act of humility and self-love when we cannot navigate challenges alone.

Moving Forward with Strength and Strategy

As I mentioned before, the stars always work in our favor. This new year kicks off with Mars entering Capricorn, its sign of exaltation.

Mars represents our inner warrior—the energy that pushes us forward toward our goals. When Mars moves into Capricorn, it thrives because Capricorn provides direction, structure, and purpose.

This energy gives us the drive and endurance to pursue our ambitions, but—just as Saturn, Capricorn’s ruler, prefers—success requires responsibility, discipline, and a solid foundation. To make the most of this transit, we need strategies, a well-thought-out action plan, and a commitment to long-term goals.

But if you don’t yet know what you want… how will you harness this energy? That’s why taking time for reflection is essential. Look around—what resources do you have? What tools do you need to move forward?

Revolutions and Radical Shifts

Let me give you a heads-up—2024 is kicking off with intense momentum. Not only are Jupiter and Mercury waking up and moving forward, but we also have a surge of transformational energy in January.

One of my favorite cosmic players, Uranus, will also be waking up this month, pushing us to break free from our comfort zones. In this article [insert link], I previously talked about Uranus—this planet doesn’t do things halfway. It wants us to evolve, and if necessary, it will shake up our lives to ensure we don’t stay stuck.

Uranus challenges us to do things differently, to innovate, to tap into our most spontaneous and authentic selves. It urges us to release limiting beliefs and conditioning, unlocking our fullest potential. This literally means stepping into unexplored territory and embracing the unknown.

As if that weren’t enough, besides this powerful Uranian energy, there’s another major shift: Pluto, the god of the underworld, will also be stirring things up as he moves into Aquarius.

Pluto’s influence is generational—its slow transit shapes entire eras. The last time humanity experienced Pluto in Aquarius was during the French and Industrial Revolutions. This gives us a glimpse of the magnitude of change we might see over the next two decades.

The Only Constant in Life Is Change

With all these cosmic movements, my message to you is: don’t resist change. I know change often brings fear and uncertainty, but if we take a step back and observe, we realize that change is the only constant in life.

From the moment we are born, we are constantly changing—our bodies, our surroundings, our friendships, our beliefs, our routines. Imagine if our bodies never grew, if we ate the same food every day, listened to the same song on repeat, or remained in elementary school forever.

Sounds ridiculous, right? The fear of change is just that—a mental construct that paralyzes and disempowers us. As someone with a strong Uranian influence, I can tell you this: resisting change only makes it harder. But if we dare to flow with life and see where it takes us, we might be in for some incredible surprises.

I wish you a fantastic start to the year! May you create the strategies that help you manifest your dreams on a strong foundation, and may you cultivate the flexibility to navigate the changes that lie ahead.
