It's Time to Let Go
This Week, Stay Centered: Breathe, Meditate, and Focus Inward—This Will Be Key
The Eye of the Hurricane
It's time to let go… Have you ever seen in movies when a hurricane passes, and suddenly the sun comes out, making you think it's over? But then, the sky darkens again, and everything starts up once more?
Well, this week might feel a little like that. Don’t lose your center—breathe, meditate, and focus inward. This will be key…
The Sandwich Week
The solar eclipse has passed, and we are now in the famous “sandwich week,” the period between eclipses. On October 28, we will have the second eclipse of this season.
Eclipses awaken in me that energy of "enough is enough." They invite me to do a deep cleanse in my life, clearing out everything I no longer want. They create situations around me that are necessary and (we could say) destined to happen because, one way or another, I need to change course.
Of course, the outcome will depend on my free will. When faced with these situations, it is I who must decide what to do in each moment.
Clarity
This week, we may feel like we are in the eye of the hurricane. The alignments in the sky will bring us light and clarity, allowing us to see everything from a new perspective. But to do so, we must make an effort to change our perception, step out of the victim role, and take control of our lives.
My recommendation is to keep a self-inquiry journal and record everything you feel, observe, and experience. As I’ve mentioned before, eclipses tell us a story, and they are interconnected. This exercise will help you become aware of your process and take an active role in it so that life doesn’t just pass you by without you noticing. But I won’t lie to you—journaling alone is not enough. Action must follow…

It’s Time to Let Go…
After clarity comes the call to action—the invitation to release, to put an end to situations I no longer want to repeat. For this, I will need a lot of coherence, which I spoke about last week. And of course, it will be very helpful to turn to Nonviolent Communication (NVC) to improve relationships, because behind each of these situations, there is always another person involved in the conflict.
Maybe you’re reading this and none of it resonates with you. Perhaps you’re thinking, “Everything in my life is great, I have no problems with anyone.” If that’s the case, I have to be honest—I don’t believe you. As my mentor Enric says, “The day we have no more conflicts is the day we are dead.” There will always be something in our lives that causes discomfort. That’s normal, and it’s part of the human experience. If I feel like that’s not the case, then I am completely asleep and disconnected from myself.
That’s why it’s also important to pay attention to sensations and physical symptoms, as our bodies are constantly communicating where we need to focus. And when we do that, things will start to surface…
A Book to Let Go… Breathe, Meditate, and Focus Inward
One book that helped me a lot in my own process was Letting Go by David Hawkins. Here’s one of his quotes, and I highly recommend reading the book during these weeks to fully harness the energy of the eclipses:
“The real reason behind the sensation is the accumulated pressure forcing it to emerge at this moment. External thoughts or events are just an excuse invented by the mind. As we become familiar with letting go, we realize that every negative feeling is linked to a basic fear of survival, and that all emotions are nothing more than mental programs.” —David Hawkins
Responsibility
It sounds easy to talk about letting go, but what happens after I release something? I take responsibility. Letting go means taking responsibility for my decisions. That’s why it isn’t simple—most of the time, we avoid making decisions out of fear of what might happen. Instead, we stay stuck in the same situations, merely surviving rather than truly living life to the fullest.
The good news is that perception plays a major role in this. If we dare to venture into the depths of our unconscious, do the personal work, and make the internal shift, we’ll realize that those fears were only in our minds. What happens when a child is scared, and we suddenly turn on the light? The monster isn’t so terrifying—it was just a tree branch casting a shadow…
But it’s also crucial to know when to take action and when to give ourselves more time. Decisions have an impact on our lives, and it’s important to be sure and centered before making them.
If I make a decision based on fear, frustration, anger, anxiety, or impulse, it’s best to take a little more time to analyze it. But don’t fall into the ego’s trap of paralysis—fear is normal when making an important decision. The key here is coherence with myself and the inner peace that my decision will bring me.
Rising Like the Phoenix
I’ll wrap up this article with this: Next Monday, the Sun will enter Scorpio, the most intense sign of all, and the second eclipse will take place there. This means the energy will not decrease—it will continue to rise, creating pressure and discomfort until we decide to do something about it.
It’s time to let go… Scorpio season invites us to face our deepest shadows with courage, allowing our old self to die so that we can rise again like the Phoenix.
We will emerge full of light, strength, and a wisdom that can only be obtained by those who dare to go through this process of death and transformation…
